This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Recently, I have been accused of being obsessive. (I guess since I am typing this with one finger after being mugged in a subway station, I pretty much well be! But I want to be cleared of this charge in my own words and in my own reasoning, which someone might consider flawed, but to me is perfectly justifiable because of the experience I have in life.)
You see, to me, it is perfectly justifiable to be obsessive if you're an artist because you see things in a manner that few people do. You are drawn to the perfection of minutiae; the way a line falls on a paper, the feel of a fabric, or the damned way a shadow falls across an object. Artists focus on these things, and try to incorporate them in all they do. We try to make a line fall in our favor, choose a fabric that will suit a dress and fall just right, or toy with a painting until a shadow falls in the right position. Artists are obsessive and compulsive because we create at the spur of the moment and perservere until our artwork is just right!
So...to you psych majors out there who think obsessive people are a nuisance and need help, why don't you stop nitpicking and adjust your attitudes. Maybe you'll discover that the problem lies really within you.
